Improving College Readiness by Focusing on ACT Preparation - June 1, 2023 (8:30AM-12:30PM CST)

Teachers, Principals, and Supervisors can adjust schedules, study other school system’s data, and show their students and other teachers that they want their students to have the best ACT scores possible. The next step is KNOWING HOW to make that happen in a timely manner.

TOSS/ALI understands that need and at the end of this school year, Kenneth Stansberry will present proven strategies to help students improve their ACT score. These ‘tricks of the trade’ have been perfected by Mr. Stansberry.

Kenneth comes to us directly from the classroom, having spent much of his career in Knox County Schools and more recently in Williamson County Schools. He has taught ELA at the high school level, and he has created one of the best ACT preparation professional learning programs in Tennessee. He has virtual notebooks of suggestions, lessons, and schedules that he shares with attendees with grace and humor. The best part of Kenneth’s professional learning style is his ability to leave every attendee KNOWING that they can implement their own ACT preparation and recognition program in their school with fidelity.

Kenneth only recently retired from his public-school career, and he is now fully engaged in helping our leaders prepare their students for the rigors of college and career readiness assessments.
