Session Description

Preparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing world will require significant instructional shifts and new approaches to professional development. We must meet educators where they are and provide them with the support they need to transform their practice. But where do we start? Join Jeff Liberty to learn about what BetterLesson has learned from coaching hundreds of teachers in North America, including teachers here in Tennessee, to shift their practice towards systems of learning that are highly blended, engaging, and personalized.

Outcomes

Participants will come away from the session with a deeper understanding of:

1) The different types of challenges that different types of teachers encounter when they start to shift their practice towards blended and personalized learning systems.

2) The connection between the way that teachers experience professional learning and the depth of their understanding of blended and personalized learning strategies.

3) The different types of support teachers nee as they shift their classroom practice towards learning models that are more blended and personalized.
