DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND GUIDANCE FROM THE CDC, WE ARE POSTPONING THIS EVENT. WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO OFFER THIS EVENT IN THE FUTURE.
You have technological devices in your schools but now what?
TOSS ALI along with Dr. Jeannie Williams, Rutherford Co. Instructional Technology Specialist, and Dr. Terry Sue Fanning, Associate Professor of Education at Lipscomb University, is happy to present our first event that will help our leaders learn more about engaging students with their own learning as they navigate the world of ‘one to one’ devices. We spend so much time and energy getting devices in our students hands, but how much do we really know about the right next steps?

Part I: Engage Learners through Blended Learning Strategies
Understand the key characteristics of blended learning and impacts on student learning
Evaluate the benefits of student learning stations and choice
Evaluate blended learning resources that will engage students and add accountability
Part II: Engage Learners through Rigorous and Relevant Activities
Understand how rigor, relevance, and relationships support the foundations of effective instruction with technology
Apply the rigor and relevance framework to our current technology integration practices
Determine the best technology tools and resources to integrate into high impact instructional strategies
